Each safety step ladder features ingenious twin side hand rails plus an extra high support bar which combine to provide extra re-assurance when climbing up, down and during use. They're perfect for day to day housework, reaching into high cupboards, changing lightbulbs, pruning in the garden and for DIY use.

These safety step ladders are made from strong yet lightweight tubular steel and are safety rated to European safety standard EN131 – allowing a maximum user weight of 150 kilos or 23 and a half stone! Each step has a rubberised non-slip covering and the extra high padded front safety rail stretches a generous 61cm above the top step for holding or leaning against.

The Eckman safety steps are available in two convenient sizes – a three step safety ladder which provides a maximum standing height of 73 centimetres above ground and weighs just 7 kilos or for extra reach, the four step safety ladder with a standing height of 95 centimetres above ground which weighs a very manageable 10 kilos. The top step can also be used to rest things on so is great for cleaning the windows! The safety ladders fold neatly away for storage and have an attractive white and black colour finish.
